The new specific search option provides much more control when searching for consignments.
You can get to the specific search by selecting "Specific" from the consignment search drop down
The follow screen then appears which allows you to define your search criteria
Search features
When using the specific search you can:
- Define precisely which fields to match on
- State whether to match on the value exactly or anywhere within the data (for example a keyword that appears within a description)
- Up to five different fields may be matched
- Provide up to two different values for the same field
- Search by a range (for example a date range
Search types
Adhoc
Each user can define their own ahdoc (or on the fly) search which is private to them.
Saved searches
Searches can also be saved and made available to all users of a business.
Other features
- The previous search is always remembered by the system and will be ready to go the next time you wish to apply it.
- There is also the facility to extract the results of a search to a data file (see here for more details about the extract facility)
