Add a Client Address


You can add new addresses to your contact list and flag them as a tracking client.


A tracking client is typically a trader client who is not registered in Accord, The first benefit of a tracking client is that Customs Brokers can load and maintain the client's product catalog just as if he was registered in Accord. The second is that Freight Parties can use his Tracking ID (shown in Settings - Clients - Registered/Tracking) with the Accord API (available in a future release) to integrate Accord's tracking status data with an external system.


  1. At the top navigation panel click on Settings menu, choose the option Addresses under Clients section.  
  2. The list with the existing client addresses will be displayed. Click on Add button. 
  3. Enter the contact details. You can flag it as tracking client here and assign a TSW code. Click OK button to save the changes.


If the client address is flagged as a tracking client you can fully register that client in Accord by following the steps at Register a Tracking Client. Please notice that the nominated user will need to activate the registration by clicking on a link in the email they receive.


To delete an existing client address follow the steps described at the Delete a Client Address section. Please notice that if the client address was flagged as a tracking client its deletion will require 2 steps as described at Delete a Tracking Client section.
