While an import declaration is in progress FreightShare blocks any changes to the consignment data. The destination Customs Broker used to be able to allow amendments to the data by clicking the Amend button on the Declarations Tab.
We have improved this functionality by displaying an open or closed deadlock on an open consignment to indicate if the data may be changed. Also the destination Customs Broker can now click on a closed deadlock to unblock the data when the import declaration needs to be amended
A blocked consignment now displays with a closed deadlock
The destination Customs Broker may click on a closed deadlock to enable changes to the consignment data
The Declaration Edit/Compile button has been removed is now replaced by the Amend button
