Enhancements

  • Delete/Undelete All options have been added to the Products tab for a consignment.  These options can be used to delete all lines related to an invoice (or undo the delete).  To use the options an invoice must first be selected in the drop down list.
  • An alternative billing party can now be setup against a TSW client by entering a code and a name.  This party will then become the debtor for billing requests completed for that TSW client.
  • The clients reference number is now displayed on declaration alert emails, declaration certificates and other documents in place of the first order number.  When creating a new consignment the clients reference will initially be set to the first order number (if present) but can then be changed from the consignment Other tab.

Issues Resolved

  • The Description field on the Consignment Other tab was incorrectly restricting the number of the characters that could be entered.  This has now been fixed.

  • A clients reference number can now be entered against a consignment.  This can be entered into the search and will display on the booking confirmation, delivery note and also be the reference for billing requests.

  • Additional information can now be entered against importer/exporter TSW clients to be automatically included on declarations.  This facility can be used for multiple use permits or other codes always apply for a particular importer/exporter.
  • The Review / Declaration Lines Window now has an option to view a summary of qualifiers across declaration lines.  A qualifier can be selected to view the declaration lines with that qualifier.

Enhancements

  • There is now an option to setup a declarant PIN against your login.  The system will then show an error when the wrong PIN has been entered when lodging declarations or cargo reports.  For details see Setup your Declarant PIN
  • An Extract option has been added to products for traders and tracking clients allowing a CSV file to be downloaded.
  • An Extract option has been added to classified products for a TSW client allowing a CSV file to be downloaded.
  • The classified products auto-add file format has been extended to support additional product fields and up to 5 qualifiers.

Enhancements

  • For NZ users, MFR exemption code has been added to the declaration additional information.  MFR stands for Manual Food Referral and can be used to request manual processing of an import declaration by MPI Food Safety.
  • A Food Safety FACC document can now be automatically emailed to the client by using the 'Quarantine (Final)' email address and selecting to attach the TSW Document (under the details for the TSW Client).
  • The order number has been added as a column in the clipboard data of import landed costs.

Issues Resolved

  • Fixed information in the header of the declaration certificate document not displaying because of a long consignment description wrapping onto multiple lines.
  • Fixed a problem with the display of consignment documents that could occur when filenames are very long.  This problem caused the view and delete options to become inaccessible in the list.  A horizontal scrollbar is now displayed in this case.

  • An error could display in some circumstances when using the actual cost option on billing requests for Xero.  This has now been resolved.

  • There is now an option to indicate an actual cost (instead of an estimate) on a billing request for Xero.  If all lines for a creditor have actual cost then the bill (purchase invoice) in Xero will be set to Approved rather than Draft.

Enhancements

  • It now possible to complete an export declaration with multiple booking/housebill numbers for the same consignee by entering the additional bill numbers into the Sub-freight bill in each Packages record.  Note that this option is not valid for Low Value export declarations or cargo reports, only Normal declarations. 
  • The option to attach a Declaration Certificate(s) to an invoice is now ticked by default for Xero billing requests. The box may be unticked if no certificate attachment is required.

  • Resolved an issue with the container details on shipment documents.
  • An problem related to amending an export completion declaration has been fixed.

  • There is now an option when adding quoted rates to a billing request to only add rates for an item code.  When doing so if no rates are found for the client then standard rates will be applied if found (those with a client code of *STANDARD*).  Also rates can now be assigned a Category of Manual to indicate that they should only be applied when specifically adding rates for an item code and not when just the client code is entered.

Issues Resolved

  • Fixed client products auto-add failing to add products when the manufacturers country code has a trailing + or - character as can be the case when the file has been exported from SpeEDI Freight.

  • Fixed some inconsistencies with how movement details displayed for transhipment cargo reports both on screen and on the printed document.  The An indication of whether an EDI send is required for either inbound or outbound or for both is now displayed.

From 1st Dec 2019, NZ import declarations under NZ$1000 in total goods value will not incur any Customs duty, tax or fees charges. Also for normal import declarations, ‘online’ suppliers can be updated (in TSW Clients) with their NZ Tax No so that tax can be excluded from the Customs charges where applicable.

  • Power BI connection improvements.
  • Hold+Repeat option added to billing for Xero.  This allows multiple billing requests to be held to be submitted automatically when an import declaration is cleared.  An Edit option has been added to the history to allow previously held billing requested to be updated.

  • Phone numbers that are not in the correct format will now be ignored for consignments that are transferred to FreightShare.

  • For NZ export drawback declarations, a refund amount can now be entered against each product line.  This replaces entering the duty total amount into the Declarations tab.
  • There is now an option for a Xero billing request to be submitted when a clearance is received for an import declaration

  • Documents can now be archived when submitting a billing request to Xero.
  • Trading terms can now be selected against each goods invoice and an independent option on the declaration is used to state if freight and insurance are included or not in the invoice line values.
  • For NZ users, from 1st December 2019 some overseas suppliers of low value goods will need to start collecting GST.  As such a tax number can now be entered against a supplier and you can now indicate for goods invoices whether the tax was pre-paid, not pre-paid or exempt.
  • The declaration review window will now display the Logs button in red when lines have errors that are not visible (ie where only the line number is displayed in red text).

  • Improved field focus on billing request lines to select the text when the focus is given to a text field.

  • Fixed a problem with NZ import declarations being rejected with error 'Region of Origin : Not specified or invalid'.  This could come about if the lines where pasted into an order using the auto-add facility.

Enhancements

  • Xero billing requests now have a Complete option which will set the sales invoice to an Authorised state and email the invoice to the debtor.  Payment terms must be entered in order to use this option.
  • NPA (Not Prohibited Ammunition) exemption code added to additional information for NZ import declarations.

Issues Resolved

  • Fixed OK button becoming greyed out on the declaration sign-off window.  Issue would come about if OK was clicked when required data such as the PIN was not entered.
  • Billing request now includes the correct fee for NZ for a low value export declaration (ie the export cargo report fee).

  • The total number of containers, pallets or vehicles is now displayed on the footer of the consignment packages tab.
  • Support has been added to create a consolidated import declaration which includes data from multiple consignments for the same consignee and shipment.
  • The most recent TSW document can now be attached to a clearance alert email sent from the consignment notes tab.   For NZ users an example of a TSW document is a BACC received from MPI.

  • Fixed delete of tracking clients from client addresses not working correctly.
  • Fixed incorrect name of the importer or exporter appearing on declaration certificates attached to a billing request where the party being billed is other than the importer or exporter.

  • When adding a product from Orders data was not being brought through from the previous line if it had been confirmed, this has now been resolved.

  • To enter an importers container unpack facility (APR) code, this must now be done from addresses rather than the TSW client details.
    Also for FCL import declarations, the unpack facility code must now be present in the Packages (note that the code will be selected automatically in Packages where possible and that an unpack facility code can no longer be stated in Additional Info at declaration sign-off).
  • For NZ users, alerts will now display on the review window for import declaration lines that MPI have an interest in based on the tariff code.
